Rotary piston liquid filling machine is engineered for high speed requirements, it is necessary to move away from the inline piston filler machines and instead to rotary piston filling machines. In this format, filling system can be designed for an almost unlimited number of production requirements Rotary piston filler design is based on filling every container to a pre-determined weight, this provides the most accurate fill weights regardless of fluctuations in product and container characteristics.

Containers are fed onto the rotary piston filler, separated, positioned on individual filling stations under custom designed filling valves, product is drawn into a cylinder as the piston is lifted by the piston roller traveling up an inclined cam track. At the top of the piston stroke the valve is rotated, closing the intake port and opening the discharge port. On the downstroke, the piston gently moves the product out of the cylinder, through the valve and into the container. If no container is present, the valve remains in the intake position and the product is gently returned to the filler bowl. It is designed for an almost unlimited number of production requirements and capable of volumetric filling low viscosity(thin) liquid to high viscosity(thick) liquid or creams with or without particulates. But it is better for filling pastes, creams, lotions, gels.
